• who cooks normally?: rory. he’s a PHENOMENAL cook. like he made amy waffles in the morning after the first night she stayed over (they had just watched a movie marathon then passed out on the couch) and she said they were as good as sex. he promptly dismissed himself to take a shower.
• how often do they fight?: once every so often. usually, it’s playful bickering, but they do argue, and once in a blue moon they actually fight.
• what do they do when they’re away from each other?: amy hangs out with the doctor. if she’s not with him, then she goes for jogs, takes pictures of things, plays solitaire on her laptop, and tries to knit (and fails). rory knits, plays blaster ball on his laptop, tries to take picture of things (and fails), or plays football. if he’s with the doctor, then he just talks about amy until the doctor drops him off wherever amy is.
• nicknames for each other?: no nicknames. (rory tried to call amy ‘cherry bomb’ on their wedding night. she suffocated him with a pillow.)
• who is more likely to pay for dinner?: rory, though amy always grumbles about it.
• who steals the covers at night?: amy does, and rory just shivers by himself until she engulfs him in blankety warmth.
• what would they get each other for gifts?: amy got rory a nosehair trimmer and he almost cried. rory got amy a few sweaters and some boots, and she was quite content.
• who kissed who first?: amy kisses rory because after their first date she left him on the front door step after she ran inside to use the bathroom. he was out there for half an hour before she remembered he was there. she had intended to just hug him and go to bed, but seeing him still down there made her want to kiss him and go on another date.
• who made the first move?: rory.
• who remembers things?: rory. he has a little pocket calendar he keeps. amy thinks it’s funny. the doctor takes it and puts red Xs through thursdays.
• who started the relationship?: rory.
• who cusses more?: amy. ooooh yes.
• what would they do if the other one was hurt?: rory would do what he could to assist her, then hover around her and pace and fret and worry and be a bit snappy if someone tried to separate them. amy would freeze up, then get shit done, then blame herself, probably.

aragorn. however, he wakes up almost immediately after and tosses them back over them both and just uses arwen to keep him warm.

• how often do they fight?: they bicker basically every day, but only have a serious fight every so often.
• what do they do when they’re away from each other?: sherlock distracts himself with cases, people-watching, playing the violin, or bitching to lestrade. john reads, watches crap telly (but then he misses sherlock’s commentary so he stops), chats with mrs hudson, or gets bitched at by lestrade because sherlock is bitching at him.
• nicknames for each other?: none! though sometimes, on rare occasions, john calls sherlock ‘sherly-birdy’, a nickname his mother gave him, to annoy him or get him to shut up. it always works.
• who is more likely to pay for dinner?: sherlock is, but that’s because he takes the check from john.
• who steals the covers at night?: sherlock. he practically cocoons himself. john woke up once to find a faceless chrysalis next to him and ended up kicking him off the bed before realising it was sherlock. sherlock holds it against him.
• what would they get each other for gifts?: sherlock bought john a new watch, his first gift to him. john was genuinely pleased with it, and sherlock was proud of himself for buying it for him. otherwise, he just buys the milk or the shopping when he’s feeling generous and/or did something bad and wants to apologise. john bought sherlock a new microscope, a new model of the old one he had with a cracking lens. common gifts include gloves or bits and pieces of disguises.
• who kissed who first?: neither of them know. sherlock leaned in, but john actually made the connection because sherlock just stared at him. talking about it makes them bicker back and forth and it usually leads to a discussion of who’s buying the milk.
• who made the first move?: sherlock did.
• who remembers things?: john.
• who started the relationship?: the relationship sort of started itself. three weeks later, john asked if they were dating, sherlock said “obviously”, and that was that.
• who cusses more?: john.
• what would they do if the other one was hurt?: sherlock would get immediate help and do what he could to make sure it didn’t get worse, and john would either take care of it himself or take him to the hospital, depending on the degree of the injury. either way, they would be stressing out and pissed and probably snog the other when they came to.

roy has had tea imported from xing to give to riza, because she enjoys different brews. he’s also given her a few sets of earrings and a dress or two. riza bought roy a camera once, but he lost it three days later. since then, she’s settled for a few chess sets and buying him lunch every now and again.

• big spoon/little spoon: alfred is always the big spoon and he bitches about it endlessly if he isn’t.
• favorite non-sexual activity: going for walks in the park.
• who uses all the hot water: alfred. he gets too caught-up in his shower concerts and he just sings until the water runs cold.

• who does most of the cleaning: arthur.
• what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: they somehow manage to share it, only hogging during their favourite tv show’s new seasons.
• who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: neither. alfred knows how to fix it. 
• who steals the blankets: alfred, to which arthur always sticks his (freezing) feet between alfred’s legs until he forfeits them back.
• who leaves their stuff around: alfred.
• who remembers to buy the milk: alfred, mainly because he does the cooking. of course, arthur is the one who actually goes and buys it.
• who remembers anniversaries: they both do. c:

neither of them do because the last time one of them did it (sherlock), it was just to get back at john for not letting him bring home a horse’s head, and he used up so much water than even mrs hudson’s flat lost hot water - and so did mrs turner, and all her tenants. sherlock and john were grounded for three days and couldn’t shower as a result. they don’t talk about it.

• big spoon/little spoon: there’s no clear role assignment. they right over big spoon/little spoon just about every night. so it’s a nice, even split, depending on who has the most determination that night.
• favorite non-sexual activity: wandering the TARDIS. the doctor has rooms even he doesn’t know about; they like to map them as they go along.
• who uses all the hot water: river. i mean. look at dat hair. 
• most trivial thing they fight over: the doctor fights river over her constantly waving spoilers in his face; river fights the doctor because he doesn’t let her take things from the planets/historic sites they visit. (she tried to take a japanese zero once. couldn’t get it through the TARDIS front door.)
• who does most of the cleaning: the doctor.
• what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: river, because the doctor isn’t interested in movies. she only watches them when he’s busy on his own or sulking.
• who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: what landlord? the doctor hears river’s complaints, hits the TARDIS console with a wrench to fix it, and accidentally sends them on a one-way trip to io. he manages not to kill them - and he gets the heat back on (and thus a kiss from river).
• who steals the blankets: river.
• who leaves their stuff around: the doctor leaves his toys, and river leaves her clothes. and his.
• who remembers to buy the milk: amy and rory because they’re frequent fliers and they just remember these things.
• who remembers anniversaries: river, definitely.
