about my blog & tags
just a little(?) list of tags to look out for on my blog, as well as a general run-down on the content on here. c:
bold items are the topics and the tags; italics are the sub-topics.
general fandoms. this is a very fandom-oriented blog. below are the ones i’m in, and what you’ll see from them. if you are expecting this to be a one-fandom blog, a word of caution: it ain’t. follow me for whatever reason you wish; i really don’t mind! but, please don’t be disappointed if you see animu boys making out on your dash instead of doctor who or whatever. i try to balance everything and think i do a nice job. in general, though:
- i post a lot of slash, but i NEVER post or reblog anything NSFW. this is a very work-safe blog.
- i write ficlets on here, often on a whim, for some of my fandoms, the most frequent being hetalia*, xmfc, and wholock. i tag all of my fics under writing.
- i also edit for fandoms, occasionally, and all my edits are under here.
MAIN FANDOMS:
hetalia* is on my blog pretty commonly. unless it’s a giant group picture or a pairing, i tag the characters individually, with their country names. if they’re young, i’ll put ‘baby ____’.
* - it’s important to note that while hetalia is common on my blog, it isn’t usually the anime or the manga in general. it’s specifically usuk, my otp of otps. i’m not a big multi-shipper, and i’m not really into the show itself anymore, so don’t be disappointed if you don’t see much of anything but usuk on here.tags: usuk, usuk[2], & usuk[3]: any pictures with both england and america in them, romantic or not. i do not tag the individual characters when they are in the same picture.
i do not have a general hetalia tag. look out for other characters, again by country. if i reblog other pairings, i usually tag them by their pairing name, like germancest and spamano.doctor who, for all your whovian needs. if i remember, i tag by doctor as well; you’ll usually see them like this: ninth, tenth, and eleventh. i tend to forget to do that, though.
pairings are untagged, but include doctor/TARDIS, eleven/river, nine/rose, and amy/rory. there are a few posts with individual character tags, usually by first name.tags: doctor who, doctor who[2], & doctor who[3], pairings untagged but included in both. doctor who-related crossovers include wholock (also tagged with sherlock who).
sherlock; bbc’s sherlock. pretty self-explanatory. i do not tag by character or by pairing, but i will be tagging spoilers when the new season begins.
under this tag is a ridiculous amount of sherlock/john and pretty graphics.tags: sherlock, sherlock[2], & sherlock[3], pairings untagged but included in both. sherlock-related crossovers include wholock (also tagged with sherlock who).
merlin is related to bbc’s merlin. (i’m a bbc fan, isn’t it obvious?) unless requested, i will not be tagging my merlin spoilers, since i don’t think many people i follow even know merlin; and if they do they’re in the uk and see it before me, lucky bastards.
under my merlin tag is merthur and gwencalot, and not a lot else. like with hetalia, i don’t ship a whole lot, and those are my main (and i think my only) ships in merlin.tags: merlin, pairings untagged but included.
homestuck: i’m pretty new to it, but it’ll be a popular tag, most likely. all updates will be tagged with ‘spoilers’ and ‘update’. pairings will be untagged.

homestuck, pairings untagged but included.marvel: i’m a budding marvel fan! i’d love to read the comics, but this is a movie tag. the movies include x-men: first class**, iron man, captain america, thor, and the avengers.
unless it’s xmfc (see below), i’m not too big of a shipper. i don’t tag my ships if i sail them, but expect some steve/peggy, tony/pepper, maaaybe some steve/tony, and thor/loki.
** - like the hetalia/usuk issue, i don’t generally reblog xmfc as a whole. i do, however, reblog the pairing cherik, which sort of acts as my umbrella term.tags: avengers. expect tag explosion come may. captain america. iron man. thor. all pairings untagged but included, except for cherik.
SUB-FANDOMS:
star trek, which includes everything that comes on my dash, however infrequently it appears. contains every series, but mainly the original series, the next gen., and the 2009 movie. i do not discriminate by series or film.
the only pairing, which i do not tag, to watch out for is spirk. ‘nuff said.tags: star trek, pairings untagged but included.
lord of the rings includes the films, passages from the books, quotes, and set pictures from the hobbit.
it’s rare for me to reblog pairings, since they never show up, but they will include canon het. pairings like aragorn/arwen and faramir/eowyn, and some frodo/sam bromance.tags: lotr.
harry potter. yep, i’m a slight potterhead. i sort of reblog it when i see it, unless the fandom is psycho, then i leave it be.
no real pairing warnings, except maybe harry/luna. there’s not much slash here, either.tags: harry potter, pairings untagged but included.
disney, an umbrella tag for every disney movie i find on here. no weird or bizarre pairings here!

OTHER:
text posts. i make a lot of ‘em, because i think a lot and am completely emotionally unstable. generally, i tag them as personal and i keep them all under read mores, but sometimes i forget.
music. pretty straight-forward. just music from anything; from anime to sinatra, all tagged under music and music[2].
animals. it’s common to see animal pictures and videos on here, but i tag everything with animals, animals[2], & animals[3]. specific tags include cat~ and dog~ because i’m biased and kawaii desu neko-chan ^_^
and that’s about it! everything else is silly nonsense and tag essays. i hope this little guide kind of gave you an idea of what to expect. enjoy my blog!
